What PHP does
PHP is a server-side language used by many content management systems. It runs site code and generates the browser response. Its version must be compatible with the CMS, extensions and custom work.
Why supported versions matter
A branch that reaches end of life stops receiving fixes from the PHP project. “PHP 8” alone does not establish that a setup is current: check the exact branch and installed patch.
How to migrate
We review dependencies, create a copy and check compatibility. We fix errors and test administration, forms and integrations. After switching we monitor logs and load, with rollback prepared beforehand.
